The Open Energy Data Initiative (OEDI) aims to improve and automate access to high-value energy datasets across the U.S. Department of Energy’s programs, offices, and national laboratories, and help researchers and industry to accelerate analysis and advance innovation. For more information, please refer to openei.org.
To achive the goals, this package provides many features, as below:
Automated OEDI data lake operations
Various discoverable large datasets
Extensible design of new dataset integration
Scalable dataset queries
Many examples for quick pickup
For now, the OEID data lake is built on AWS, and is expected to extend to other cloud providers in the future.
